AAA Parking Tees Off at Doral

Miami, FL --  One of the nation’s most respected parking management companies, AAA Parking,  announced today that it will begin providing services to Marriott’s prestigious Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida, effective April 1, 2009.

Doral Golf Resort & Spa is located on 650 lush, tropical acres in the heart of Miami and offers five magnificent golf courses, including the legendary Blue Monster course, which plays host to the PGA Tour annually.  The Resort features a variety of accommodation options, from luxurious Garden Rooms to two-bedroom Spa Suites.   Doral offers guests every amenity you may expect in a Four-Star rated property including a state of the art Spa and fitness center, three swimming pools, a water-park, championship tennis facility, and five delectable dining options and lounges.

AAA Parking has sharply increased its presence in the South Florida market, with the addition of many prestigious clients that include the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, South Beach Marriott, Shore Club, Delano and Mondrian South Beach.  In all, AAA Parking operates over fifteen hotel/resort properties in the state and over 200 properties company-wide, from Miami to St. Louis, MO.  DeCort added that “2008 was a strong year for growth, and despite the lower economic projections for next year, we have very aggressive expansion goals in 2009.”

An entirely new full-spectrum equipment package will be installed at Doral as part of AAA Parking's operating agreement.  On the valet parking side, access equipment from Computerized Valet Parking Systems, Inc. (CVPS) will be implemented.  The system includes license plate recognition, which automates the license plate number capturing and tagging process, thus preventing bottlenecks during heavy ingress. The CVPS system also includes digital cameras that automatically capture a series of images from all sides of the vehicle, providing a reference to the condition of a vehicle upon entrance in the event of a customer-filed damage claim.

For the Doral self-parking operation, AAA Parking is installing equipment from TIBA Parking Systems. The new equipment package will offer Doral guests several options for paying parking charges, including an automated kiosk in the hotel lobby which will accept cash or credit cards.  This  option allows guests to utilize an express lane exit rather than stopping at a cashier upon exit.  A second payment option will be located at the exit to the facility and accept credit cards only.

An operations manager for AAA Parking’s operation at Doral Golf Resort & Spa hasn’t been announced. The staff will consist of about 30 full time personnel who will operate round-the-clock valet and self parking services at three separate arrival locations on the property, including the golf club house, the Spa and the Resort’s main lobby entrance.
